The Punjabi industry has seen boom and depression a lot many times. It is a very uncertain industry so the actors have put in their hands into business to secure their future which is the best one can do for oneself.

Here are list of actors who have completely put in their hands in business which no where relate to the industry.

Some have failed while others are running it well.

Gurpreet Ghuggi : His comedy has made us laugh so much that we have had stomach ache and his business is relates to stomach as well. Ghuggi Junction, Balachor, caters hungry stomachs on the highway.

The place has outlets like McDonald’s and Café Coffee Day. Though his acting is gaining him immense luxury already but this side venture has also managed to keep him occupied. Rather, the very idea of starting it came to him while he was travelling on that road. To his horror, he found no place to eat or pee, which made him become the saviour on that road ?

Navraj Hans: Hans chose a completely different venture which came out of his childhood love for cricket. He bought Punjab’s team named ‘Punjab De Sher’ in the Celebrity Cricket League.

With big names like Sonu Sood, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Jimmy Sheirgill, Amrinder Gill and  Jazzy B his team is the most star studded one. Punjab De Sher is also backed by Punjabi stars like Daler Mehndi and Mika. Navraj being the owner played an amazing innings and became the man of the match for the very first match!

Neeru Bajwa: Neeru is growing with time! This Queen of Pollywood has tried her hands at quite a lot. Since 2014 a  venture called Neeru Bajwa Trousseau was announced.

This venture became public in January last year and Neeru was seen promoting it pretty enthusiastically on Facebook. Though it’s been more than a year that we know nothing about it but well, her debut production surely won her accolades. Now she’s ready to don the Director’s hat with ‘Sargi’.

Alfaaz: The voice of famous songs ‘Haye Mera Dil’ and ‘Yaar Bathere’ fame opened his maiden salon and spa ‘The Scissorman’.

A spacious lounge cum bar, opening into one of the biggest foyers in tri-city with a central live DJ console, sets the tone for a visitor looking for more than just getting routine hair and wellness care. Alfaaz promised pretty much on the inauguration and keeping upto his promises, the venture is also running successfully. Good  he has invested into something like this at least the few Punjabi stars with absurd hairstyle can land up here. Alfaaz also has plans to start an NGO named ‘Humor’.

Surveen Chawla : The new producer in B-town tried her hands for a brand named ‘Bisu’ by Surveen Chalwa, which was a Haute Couture Line of exclusive dupattas. She got her photoshoot done as she was the model for the brand too.

She promoted it a lot on her Facebook page but no sooner she also kept quite maybe because she got too involved with her Bollywood projects. The venture’s website is still live http://www.bisu.in/. Though it doesn’t look like a very successful one, yet it’s appreciable that atleast she has tried something big and bold in B town.

Jazzy B : Flamboyant  Jazzy B’s hard-to-miss dressing sense is now a brand named B Jazzy. A clothing line inspired by Jazzy’s own sense of styling.

The clothing line has been officially launched on www. Bjazzy.in which includes T- shirts, printed and embroidered shirts, bomber jackets, sleeveless jackets, printed coats, shoes, loafers, blazers, trainer jackets, and an equally awesome range of pants sweat shirts; printed shorts, sneakers, perfumes, sunglasses, caps, ties, cuff links and watches. The admirers of Jazzy B surely have a lot of stuff to buy here.
