BARC has added another category, Top 10 Advertisers, under their Across Genres chart for the week 49 (December 3-9) where the TV rating agency shares the insertions by some of the biggest companies as a whole (inclusive of all products).
Here FMCG firms Hindustan Lever Ltd and Patanjali Ayurved have grabbed the top two spots with 64,264 insertions and 18,539 insertions respectively. Earlier BARC looked at sub-brands, which it started listing from week 43.
Bharti Airtel took the third place with 15933 insertions followed by Brooke Bond Lipton India at the fourth spot with 14825 insertions. Ponds India claimed the fifth spot with 13578 insertions. Dominos Pizza took the sixth spot with 11429 insertions. Mobile handset Vivo Mobile India and services and Idea Cellular took the seventh and at seventh spot with 10021 and 9979 insertions respectively. SBS Biotech was in the ninth spot with 9581 insertions while the Ministry of Information and Broadcast was at the bottom of the list with 9433 insertions.
In the Top 10 brands list, Airtel Cellular Phone Service reclaimed the top spot after two weeks with 14684 insertions. Dominos Quattro Formaggi Burst claimed the second spot with 11429 insertions. Vivo V5 climbed up to the third spot with 10021 insertions from its fifth spot in week 48. Idea 4G entered the chart with 9975 insertions, securing the fourth spot.
At the fifth spot was the Ministry of Information and Broadcast with 9395 insertions. Vodafone Supernet 4G fell to sixth spot by fetching in 8107 insertions. Snapdeal took the seventh spot with 6970 insertions.
Last week’s topper Gionee S6 S/S6 Pro slipped to eighth spot with 6892 insertions. Freecharge.in and GoDaddy were at the bottom of the chart at the ninth and tenth spots with 6417 and 5370 insertions respectively.
