The writer turned Director Manbhavan Singh, who’s recent release Gelo got stuck amidst rough waters due to distribution issues, has another film lined up.
He opened up about it while interacting at the Lonavla International Film Festival India (LIFFI) in Mumbai, where Gelo was screened. While talking to the media he announced his next saying that it will be a “hardcore commercial” political satire. As Singh puts it, “it will show the ugly and bright side of politics.”
As for Gelo, it is made on a novel by Ram Sarup Ankhi and handles multiple themes of social significance in a layered but deft way.
